Service Description
At Ballymore House Yoga we are delighted to offer our first term of prenatal yoga classes! Classes will be kept to a small number of participants (no more than 6), with all trimesters and experience levels welcome. We will begin our class with a period of grounding and relaxation, to allow you to let the day fall away from you, bringing you into the present moment. We will then begin to gently get our bodies moving in a way that feels good for you, on your mat, that day. We will progress to some standing postures if this feels appropriate, allowing you to incorporate some deep, diaphragmatic breathing. We will then start to wind down with some gentle stretching and finally, our beloved savasana. Prenatal yoga is a wonderful low impact way to gently exercise while you are expecting. Aside from this, it can also help you to relax, stabilise your mood and has even been shown to improve your delivery experience through breathing techniques. By recruiting and toning muscles during pregnancy, you may find that recovery after birth is a little easier too! If nothing else, it allows you a slice of time out of your busy life, to spend connecting to your baby, and nurturing the bond between you both. We welcome you to join us, and would be delighted to be a part of your most special journey.
