PLOGA TANDRAGEE

Have you ever heard of plogging? It's a Swedish fitness trend that combines jobbing with picking up litter, which started back in 2016. The Swedish word for jog is "jogga" and "plocka up" means to collect rubbish. And so, plogga was born!

Never worry though - we won't be asking you to jog anywhere! At Ballymore House Yoga we are passionate about our impact on the environment we live in, and are continuously saddened by the state of our beautiful countryside village. The roads are strewn with an unimaginable amount of litter, sadly most of which is not biodegradable. This often comes from convenience foods and other consumables that people have thoughtlessly tossed from their cars.

We wanted to try and combine our love of yoga with the desire to care for our little town. We appreciate that people lead busy lives, and are constantly pulled in different directions, and…
